Assoc. Prof. Wei Li

Dr. Wei Li is an associated professor of School of Resource and Environmental Science, and Hubei International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Base of Sustainable Resource and Energy at Wuhan University. He received his PhD majored in Material Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Prof. Shijie Cheng’ group in School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 2016 to 2019. After that, he joined Wuhan University as an associated professor. At present, he has undertaken series of projects, such as, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province, and Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. So far, he has published more than 30 academic papers in journals such as, Energy Environmental & Science, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Sciences and Energy storage Materials, and has applied for 8 patents, of which 5 patents have been granted. He has mentored 5 graduate students and served as reviewer for over 10 internal journals. His group is specialized in advanced energy storage and conversion materials, electrochemical energy storage technology, environmental electrochemistry and materials, CO2 capture and conversion, and waste recycling and reuse.
